You Do You, DouYu.
Gaming stocks soar as the week continues. There were so many gaming stocks in the green, that we had a difficult time finding any major losses in the gaming market. $DOYU and $HUYA were two of the top gainers yesterday as the market continues to focus on their merger. honorable mentions by $GME and $HEAR. $NVDA and $RBLX were one of the few that ended the day in the red. Since reporting earnings, $RBLX continues its yoyo trend despite growing rapidly.
2 Ex-Dev Pals Announce New MMORPG Palia
What do you get when you cross Riot with Blizzard? An amazing new MMORPG, that's what! Inspired by Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Palia is a vast, open world RPG developed by a former Riot developer and a former Blizzard developer. Its art and layout are already looking amazing from the released media, such as the video shown above. The developers want to include a lot for this game, such as:
- Community Simulation - Similar to Stardew Valley, the game will have different aspects of villages, romanceable NPC's, and a sort of 'neighborhood' system.
- Open-World Exploration - Just like Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the game is set to have a large, open world for players to crawl through and explore to their heart's content.
- Foraging and Collecting - The game will also contain elements such as fishing and mining, just as with Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
With so much to accomplish, we're somewhat worried the game may overdo itself. However, the developers have impressive experience in some of the best game development companies around, and so far they seem to be on the right track with their idea. In any case, we're excited to see what else the game has in store as news continues to be released by the developers.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart – Reviews are In!
The PS5 exclusive is finally here, and first impressions are looking incredible. Review copies are out, and today is the day we hear what the critics are saying. So far averaging an 88 on Metacritic, Ratchet & Clank is looking like the PS5 exclusive Sony needed to show off the hardware. Looking at the reviews, without spoilers, Ratchet & Clank delivers on a compelling story and excellent gameplay in beautiful landscapes and worlds. The PS5’s SSD allow for seamless travel and the controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers allow for more engaging combat. Insomniac games learned a tremendous amount from their success from Marvel’s Spider-Man as they continue to create an outstanding single-player experience for everyone to enjoy.
This game is a big jump for Sony's PS5. It is not uncommon for a new console to need a few years to find their footing and build a large enough library for players to want to buy it. Even if it was not difficult to get your hands on a PS5, Sony is slowly growing their library. Demon Souls and Spider-Man: Miles Morales were strong launch games, but they don’t sell consoles. Returnal had a mixed launch, while Biomutant had an underwhelming response. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart seems to be the game Sony has been hyping for its next gen console.
For you lucky PS5 owners, you can start playing Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart this Friday, June 11th.
Be sure to take some time today to explore your favorite old childhood games and relive those first moments of gaming once more.
